Korean Air Baggage Allowance

Korean Air’s baggage allowance policy varies depending on the ticket type, travel route, cabin class, and frequent flyer status.

For most international routes, Economy Class passengers are generally allowed one piece of checked baggage with a maximum weight of 23 kg (50 lbs) and total linear dimensions not exceeding 158 cm (62 in).

Prestige (Business) Class and First Class passengers are permitted two pieces of checked baggage, each with a maximum weight of 32 kg (70 lbs) and total dimensions not exceeding 158 cm (62 in) per piece.

For carry-on baggage, passengers may bring one cabin bag with a maximum weight of 12 kg (26 lbs) and maximum dimensions of 55 × 40 × 20 cm (22 × 16 × 8 in). In addition, a small personal item such as a handbag, briefcase, or laptop bag is usually allowed.

Baggage allowances may vary depending on fare type, route, and SkyPass membership status. Excess baggage charges will apply to additional, oversized, or overweight baggage.

Passengers are advised to confirm their specific baggage allowance on their ticket or with Korean Air customer service team before travel, as policies may change.
