Getting to Daegu International Airport (TAE) from central Daegu is convenient and straightforward. Travel time from most downtown areas is ranges from 20 to 40 minutes, depending on traffic and the mode of transportation.

Public transportation is the most economical option. Several city buses connect directly to the airport, including express and local routes. Travelers can also use the Daegu Metro Line 1, stopping at Ayanggyo Station, which is located close to the airport. From the station, a short bus or taxi ride of about 5–10 minutes will take you to the terminal.

Taxis and private transfers provide a faster and more comfortable journey, especially for passengers traveling with heavy luggage or in groups. Taxi services are widely available throughout the city, and fares vary depending on distance and traffic conditions. Pre-booked private transfers offer direct door-to-terminal service.

For greater flexibility, car rental services are available both in Daegu and at the airport. The airport also provides short-term and long-term parking facilities for travelers arriving by car.

Passengers traveling within southeastern Korea may also consider nearby regional airports, such as Gimhae International Airport and Ulsan Airport, as alternative travel options.
