Jeju International Airport (CJU) is the primary gateway to Jeju Island and one of the busiest airports in South Korea. Located approximately 3 kilometers west of Jeju City center, the airport plays a vital role in connecting the island with mainland Korea and major cities across Asia. Opened in 1968, it has expanded significantly to accommodate the growing number of domestic and international travelers.

Jeju International Airport operates mainly domestic routes, especially the high-frequency Jeju–Seoul Gimpo corridor, one of the busiest air routes in the world. The airport also handles international flights to destinations in China, Japan, Taiwan, and Southeast Asia.

The passenger terminal is modern and efficient, offering a wide range of facilities including restaurants, retail outlets, duty-free stores, car rental counters, and passenger lounges. Clear signage in Korean, English, Chinese, and Japanese ensures easy navigation for international travelers.

With its strategic location and extensive domestic network, Jeju International Airport serves as a crucial tourism and transportation hub, supporting millions of visitors who travel to Jeju Island each year for leisure, business, and cultural experiences.
