Who is eligible to shop duty free in South Korea?

Only passengers holding a valid passport and an international boarding pass are eligible to shop at duty-free stores in South Korea, whether on departure or arrival.

Are there restricted items upon arrival or departure?

Travellers may purchase a wide range of items at duty-free stores, including alcohol, tobacco, cosmetics, perfumes, fashion items, accessories, and electronics. However, restricted items such as alcohol and tobacco must comply with Korean Customs allowance limits upon arrival.
