Goods Exempted
• Alcoholic beverages: Up to 1 litre, with a total value not exceeding USD 400.
• Tobacco products (choose one):
- Cigarettes: up to 200 sticks, or
- Cigars: up to 50 sticks, or
- Loose tobacco: up to 250 grams.
• Perfume: Up to 60 ml.
• Personal effects: Clothing, footwear, toiletries, and personal-use items
appropriate to the traveller’s stay.
• Other goods (gifts & souvenirs): Total value not exceeding USD 800, excluding
alcohol, tobacco, and perfume.
If a traveller brings quantities exceeding the duty-free allowance, Customs duty
and taxes are payable only on the excess amount, in accordance with Korean
Customs regulations. Alcohol, tobacco, and high-value goods are subject to
specific tax rates set by Korea Customs Service.
