Eastar Jet Baggage Allowance

Passengers travelling on Eastar Jet flights departing from Korea Airports must comply with the airline's baggage regulations before arriving for check-in. Baggage allowances vary according to fare type, destination, and any optional baggage purchased during the booking process.

Carry-on Baggage

Each passenger is permitted to bring one cabin bag weighing up to 10 kg. The maximum dimensions for the cabin bag are 55 cm × 40 cm × 20 cm, including wheels and handles. Cabin baggage must fit in the overhead storage compartment or beneath the seat in front.

One personal item, such as a handbag, laptop bag, or small backpack, is accepted in addition to the main cabin bag provided it fits under the passenger's seat.

Carry-on baggage departing from Korea Airports is subject to aviation security screening. Articles exceeding the permitted size or weight limits are transferred as checked baggage and excess charges apply where applicable.

Checked Baggage Allowance

Checked baggage entitlement depends on the purchased fare and route.

• Domestic promotional fares may not include complimentary checked baggage.
• Domestic regular fares include one checked bag up to 15 kg.
• Selected international fares include one checked bag ranging from 15 kg to 30 kg according to the applicable fare conditions.

Each checked item must comply with the airline's size restrictions. Oversized or overweight baggage is accepted only after payment of the applicable excess baggage charges.

Extra Baggage

Passengers may purchase additional baggage allowance before departure through Eastar Jet's website, mobile application, customer service centre, or airport ticket counters.

Advance purchase rates are lower than charges collected at Korea Airports on the day of departure.

Sports equipment, bicycles, golf bags, musical instruments, and other special baggage are accepted subject to the airline's handling conditions and applicable service fees. Certain oversized items require advance notification before the scheduled departure date.

Passengers are advised to verify the baggage allowance shown on their itinerary before travelling to Korea Airports to avoid additional airport charges.
