Eastar Jet provides an Unaccompanied Minor (UM) service for eligible children
travelling without a parent or legal guardian on selected flights.
Eligibility
The service is available only for children meeting the airline's published age
requirements and travel conditions. Reservations for unaccompanied minors must
be arranged in advance through Eastar Jet.
Booking Requirements
Parents or legal guardians are required to provide:
• Child's identification details
• Contact information for the person delivering the child
• Contact information for the receiving guardian
• Flight itinerary
• Required consent documentation
All required forms must be completed before departure.
Airport Procedures
The accompanying adult must remain with the child at the departure airport until
the aircraft has departed.
Upon arrival, the receiving guardian must present valid identification before
the child is released by Eastar Jet personnel.
Check-in
Unaccompanied minors are checked in only at staffed Eastar Jet counters. Airport
staff verify travel documents, complete the required paperwork, and issue
instructions to accompanying adults.
Onboard Assistance
Cabin crew monitor unaccompanied minors throughout the flight and assist them
during boarding, the journey, and disembarkation.
Flight Restrictions
The service is subject to operational limitations and may not be available on
all flights or itineraries involving transfers. Acceptance depends on the route
and operational capability at the departure and arrival airports.
It's important to note that Eastar Jet's unaccompanied minor service may have
different requirements or restrictions depending on the specific route or
destination. Therefore, it's best to contact Eastar Jet
customer service team directly for more
information about their unaccompanied minor policy.
